Well, I'm doing it at last! hahahah XD Here I go, enjoy me! ;)
I'm always playing with my name. 'ONE' sounds pretty similar to 'WAN', so I'm changing it all the time :P
I'm a 25 years old girl from the south of BA's suburbs. I was born in Quilmes and I grew up in Claypole and Rafael Calzada. After finishing High School I tried to get in UBA's Ph. D. career, but I hadn't any chance. The exams were so difficult! So I left my studies for later and I started to work hard.
Lately I realized that music is one of my passions. I love listening to music, everytime, everywhere. I'm even listening to it while I'm taking a shower hahahah XD Despite all this, It wasn't until this april that I took my first drum lesson. I wanted to since I was in HS, but my mom said she didn't want another musician in the family (my bro plays guitar and quite well, by the way... but he left his studies and she never forgave him for that). So I waited 10 years and now I'm very excited! :D Paul, my teacher, is a very kind, clever, understanding man. I admire him beacuse all the time, patience and comprehension he has with me (love ya, Paul! ^^) So it's been six months since I'm having my lessons and I can proudly say two thigs: first, I CAN play drums. Second, my teacher is a really good teacher after all.

As I already said, I love listening to music. My favourite bands are Metallica, Megadeth, PORK (is a local band from the south, more info at http://www.pork.com.ar/ / also available in English), Pantera, Machine Head, Guns n' Roses, Pearl Jam and so many others than the blog wouldn't be long enough to write about them! hahaha As long as it has a cool distorision, an excellent guitar solo, an amazing drummer and fit into heavy metal, thrash, new metal or hard rock categories, I'll like'em! ;)

(Pork)
However, I have a very formal job. I'm a phone operator in an international law firm and I'm making and taking phone calls from abroad. That's the reason why I decided to take a few English lessons at UBA's Language lab. I started at level 8 and now I'm at level 10 :D I hope I pass my exams in december. I'll got to study really really hard because I've been absent so many classes!
(to be continue)
nice Wanda!!
ReplyDeleteI like to be your class-mate. Your teenager spirit is very important for us. By way I enjoyed your profile, specially the different faces . Otherwise I thought that you liked soft music ,I can't imagine you playing the drum in a heavy metal band. You look like Alanis Morisete drummer. Anyway you are still sweet and feminine .
I eager to read part two.
A HUG
